History Television Canada, the country's first history channel, is putting on series entitled "Ancestors in the Attic."
"We are producing 13 episodes, which we expect will likely go to air on
History Television Canada sometime in the fall of 2006 or perhaps early
2007," said Paul McGrath, genealogist with the program.
.
The series will help the viewers find their ancestors. They are
interested to hearing from you if you have a family mystery to solve,
if you always wanted to confirm a family legend, if you have hit a
brick wall, or just have a question you would like answered.
"The story list for season one is not set yet, so we still consider
them for this season. As well, any stories we don't use, we will
consider for season two," said McGrath.
If you wish to contact the series with your family history, tell your
story—in 500 words or less—and briefly outline the evidence you
gathered in your research. There is an easy-to-use mail-in form at the
website <http://www.historytelevision.ca/microsites/ancestorssearch>.
Send the form to <ancestors.search@allianceatlantis.com>
